IfS Launch Meeting 6th June 2015 – Mark Enser

6th June 2015 By Mark Enser

June the 6th was the Independents for Seaford Launch Event at the Seven Sisters Pub, Seaford. The meeting was well attended by ifS Candidates, Team Members and Supporters. The event was opened with a showing of our new Campaign Film which was followed by a rousing speech from ifS Chair, Mark Enser. The attendance level was excellent, particularly bearing in mind the speed with which ifS has been formed.

There was ifS merchandise on sale and other fund raising activities, including a raffle. The support from local people was very encouraging, attendees gave generously which was a great start in covering some of the expenses incurred in getting ifS off the ground.

All in all a great evening, which began with the serious business of discussing where ifS will go in the future, serving the people of Seaford. The night ended with everybody in great spirits and excited at the prospect of a new beginning for Seaford, where local people are put first before mainstream party politics by way of a town council composed of independent, local candidates.

First up was our campaign video which you can view below...

The Raffle and other activities such as sales of ifS merchandise went smoothly, greatly assisted by Christine Brett. So many amazing people have got behind ifS and done absolute wonders in such a short space of time to help our candidates prepare for the election and fulfil their aims. Those aims being to give the people of Seaford full, local representation in our town council.
